Pawnutts pairs up with Dogs for Good

We are excited to announce our new partnership with Dogs for Good.

Dogs for Good is a life-transforming charity that does some amazing work, creating partnerships between people living with a disability and specially trained assistance dogs. Working with a wide range of clients, Dogs for Good trains dogs to assist children and adults with physical disabilities and autism and community dogs which visit schools and care homes in the community.

Sun Valley will be supporting Dogs for Good, sponsoring the training of a new assistance dog through fund-raising activities and through our sales of Pawnutts peanut butter, with 2% of all sales going to Dogs for Good.

Pawnutts is an all-natural peanut butter made with just one ingredient – peanuts! Full of protein, it is an excellent source of vitamins and a perfect treat as part of a well-balanced diet.

We are proud to supply Dogs for Good with Pawnutts peanuts butter to be used at their training centre.

Starting their journey at 8 weeks old, initially, the puppies spend 12 months with a volunteer Puppy Socialiser. Learning all about the world around them, the young puppies must become obedient, calm and confident dogs if they are to become a fully-trained assistance dog.

At around 14 – 18 months old, the dogs leave their volunteer socialisers and embark on the next stage of their journey to become life-changing assistance dogs. At this point, they go into the Dogs for Good Training Centre and start their formal training as assistance dogs before being carefully matched to a client.

We will be updating this blog soon with news of our new sponsored puppy.
